Were in the infancy of what can be delivered so in the future the 90% or what ever number may end up with smarter systems that may work.

As for a marketing pieces it's not bad for the industry.

Re: A World Full of Glass

Our office building is made of 90% of glass. Sometimes, people just aren't sure how to value themselves, and worry about things such as this. Your example shows that if you're offering great service and great products, people aren't going to complain about nominal increases. Nicely shared.

Re: Floating Cities in Dubai

Interesting. In the past there have been proposals by some of the wealthiest people in the world about building Super Carrier size cities in the international waters not subject to taxation by any country, i think they called it Freedom Ship. If this is a sustainable city design, with or without the rise in sea waters, we could see new countries being built this way. Future ATLANTIS!! They will need blackwater or other mercenaries for hire protecting them against piracy.

Re: Goog-411 Telephone Service

You too? If they were only going after those people who haven't had stellar records, that might be something different.

I especially thought Citi's killing their oil company Mastercard services without notice was a bad move also. Sure they're hurting, but such a bad customer service move will easily end up hurting them more. Of course, they've done some other things lately also, and I've never been a fan.

As for canceling cards, I'm all for it, as long as it's not your last card.

Re: Greek Definition of Strategy

Dear David,

Your strategy for arriving at a standard definition of 'strategy' was quite successful in meeting its objective had your argument ended with paragraph two.

In the last sentence of paragraph three not only do you contradict yourself, you undermine your own linguistic, grammatical and logical arguments.

Strategy IS NOT the objective (noun) nor the outcome (noun) nor the destination (noun).

Strategy is, as you imply, a plan or method, means or tool used to pursue an objective, outcome or destination.
